From reply to booked call in three messages

Most LinkedIn conversations stall because the seller asks for the meeting too early or too late. Here's the order that works.

Three LinkedIn messages in order: asking what a good month looks like, the prospect answering 4 new clients, two call times offered, then a booked call.

A LinkedIn DM isn't an email sequence. The prospect replied because something in your message was relevant, and you have about three messages to turn that into a call before the thread goes cold.

Message 1: get a number

Ask one question that makes them describe their goal in concrete terms. “What would a good month look like?” works better than “What are your goals?” because it invites a number.

What a good answer looks like

What would a good month look like for you?

Honestly, 4 new clients a month. Mostly referrals right now.

Message 2: tie the call to their number

Once you have a number, the call has a purpose. Repeat their words back and offer two specific times. Two options get more replies than “when works for you?”.

The Direct draft

I can show you how to get those 4 in 15 minutes. Thu 1:30 PM or Fri 1:00 PM?

Message 3: confirm and send the invite

When they pick a time, ask for the best email and send the calendar invite right away. A real invite with a Meet link turns a “sure” into a commitment.

Sell By Chat follows this order. It reads which stage the thread is in, writes the next message for that stage, and has your open slots ready when it's time to offer them.
